Women of the ELCA carries out its purpose statement in three mission areas?Mission: Community, Mission: Growth, and Mission: Action. These mission areas are intentionally interdependent and overlapping.

Purpose Statement
As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

The women of Immanuel can choose to be in one of four Circles: Miriam, Ruth, Sarah, or Vashti. Each group meets once per month for study, and has various events planned throughout the year.
