IMMANUEL LUTHERAN
CHURCH
Rural Clayton, Wisconsin

LEADERSHIP
Pastor Susan Anderson

On Sunday May 4th, Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Clayton welcomed Rev. Susan Anderson as our new pastor. The church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). The installation service was conducted by Rev. Diane House, assistant to the bishop of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin and was followed by a celebratory luncheon.

Pastor Susan lives in New Auburn, Wisconsin and has been filling in as our supply pastor for over a year. Our mutual relationship flourished during this time. As a small congregation and after managing various supply pastors a few years, we are so very pleased to again have our own dedicated pastor. Rev. Anderson is sincere, insightful and dedicated to leading our church into the future. “It’s a match made in heaven.”

You may run into Pastor Susan at Nilssen’s picking up groceries after Sunday services. She looks forward to getting to know more people in the surrounding communities.

We appreciate the community’s support of our various fundraisers throughout the year and in welcoming Pastor Susan. Immanuel is so very excited to move into this new chapter in our church’s history and will continue in service to our faith and community.
